Paper Ornaments

Photobucket

The kids and I made these paper ornaments today. I wish I would have done them earlier, but it was a perfect kids craft project. Colin was allowed to use the stapler, which is usually forbidden. I was allowed to use my paper cutter, which I might declare to be my third child.

Tutorial found here.

Wait a minute, you mean the paper cutter is NOT my third grandchild?

We need to talk - I'm already written it into my will.

Are all your fingers still intact? Because don't you tend to get a little enthusiastic sometimes with child #3 and lose body parts?

I'm pretty sure you also need one of these...

I feel your family will never be complete without some sort of die cutting machine. Do it for the children.

By the way... LOVE that paper. Those ornaments look super cute. Now where are Blake's snowflakes?

Those are so pretty and they look easy enough for even me to make!

BTW totally random thought: I had one of those crazy, pregnancy/undermedicated cold dreams the other night and you were in it. Weird right? I was in Japan, but I was at your house which in my dream was still located in Hawaii (but I guess my brain figures Japan and Hawaii are the same place) and you were making tutus. I walked through your living room and ended up in a Buffy episodes...Does your living room have portals to canceled TV shows?

My kids loved making those! I (all alone) made the snowflakes that are shown on that link. They are awesome too. I did let the kids sprinkle glitter on the snowflakes after I had them all put together. We didn't hang them from the ceiling tho...we dropped them from our 3rd floor to see who's flew the best.
