Today I Am.....

Photobucket
...laughing at our cheesy smiles.

...sick of politics. And afraid if I open my mouth, there would be a explosion on my blog.

...proud of my hard-working husband.

...wondering if when you have someones kid over for a playdate and they are awful, do you tell the parents that? Or do you pretend like it was all fabulous? Thoughts?

...bummed because I had a pretty crappy, rainy shoot last night. We shot at a beach where I found empty prescription bottles and dentures. DENTURES!

...excited for a friend. Yep, that's all you get.

...hoping you've seen this website. It's where I get all my shoot ideas.

...dancing to this song. If Dora the Explorer could crank out songs like this, I'd be more interested in learning Spanish. Uno-dos-tres-cuatro!!

1. Your cheesy grins are cute.

2. Please oh please oh PLEASE talk about politics! Please?

3. Now I have Donna Summers' "She Works Hard for the Money" stuck in my head. Thanks.

4. I'd pretend everything was fabulous and then never ever ever invite the kid back. I'm not saying that's the best route to go--just what I would do.

5. Did you try the dentures on? Or better yet, make your subjects try them on take pictures of it?

6. That's so sweet of you to be excited for me because I only have three boxes left to unpack. :)

7. That website cracked me up. It's like Cake Wrecks, but for family photos. I have a couple I need to submit.

8. O.K., "She Works Hard for the Money" is no longer stuck in my head. THAT song is.

On the playdate question? I definitely pretend it was all sunshiney. It's easier to pull off the charade because I'm so happy the kid is leaving.

Love the picture, by the way! A little cheese is good.

Do you like the mommy of the child? The relationship with the mommy is all important in what you say at the end of the playdate? If you like her, put it gently. If you are great friends...don't sugar coat it. If you don't like her...you could do either. XD

I love that picture of you two. So who took that fabulous picture? And is your hair shorter? It looks so pretty.

Never am I sick of politics, too important, Sorry. And I think it's just as important for moms to have opinions on the issues, even if their different from mine. So share, even if you'll start a fiery debate. At least people have thought.

Ornery children, I always smile and say their kids were great. Why ruin a potential favor for me?? So if I ever watched your kids or anyone else that reads this, and smiled and said your kids were great, you'll never know.

You must have missed my rant on politics. Feel free to rant on there too. I'm so peeved with politicians. ARG!

I love the cheesy grins. It makes me wonder how come all your photos come out awesome and a lot of mine come out grainy???

Cheesy looks good on you guys

Looks like everyone really wants to hear your opinion on politics :] And I won't explode on your blog!

I agree with Brandi, just pretend it was all peachy and then don't watch them again. I used to do that with babysitting...

I love that picture too, it's not cheesy to me it's just show's how happy you are and how happy your are with your husband. I agree, don't invite the kid over again. But I do agaree, the returned favor is so nice. Just a matter of how horrible.

That site was hilarious. Makes me want to go get awkward family photos taken on purpose. Anyone know where I can get ahold of a really bad photographer?

Cheesy, who cares. I think you guys look adorable. When the mom comes to pick them up I would say something like..."Yeah, he was a little out of control"!! Your tone doesn't have to be horrible and yet...your telling the truth. Who cares about the favor, If they were awful I don't think I would want my kids playing with them anyway. BUT like Crystal said, it would all depend on how much you like the mom! Politics seem to be running through a lot of blogs. Go ahead and write. It's your blog and you can explode if you want to. For someone not well educated on the subject I might actually learn something. Love your idea for this post.
