...and because he was so good at church and did not scream and by doing so catapult boogers on my silk skirt (ahem, Kate)
...and because tonight he said "Why don't we take some pictures Mama? I will sit here. You just do the snap."
...and because right now he is downstairs trying to be a pirate with his very un-pirate sister.
...and just because he looks like he's currently strangling Kate doesn't mean he isn't the sweetest older brother.
...and because he is just basically an awesome kid.

Enjoy all of the sweetness and cuteness of your fabulous boy now because one day he'll be 10 and his hands will be almost as big as yours, and his feet will be too. He'll stink also. I so miss Trystan's sweetness and innocence.
Every once in a while I'll get a glimpse of it. Then I hug him too much and he gets embarrassed. Then I have to give him a noogie so he doesn't think I actually enjoyed the affection. It's a whole thing, really.
The struggle between wanting them to grow up and wanting them to stay babies. But not too much of a baby. Potty trained at least. Speaking full sentences even better. Never mind. Let them grow up.
